Tej Mariyappa, Founder and CEO

Tej brings over 20 years of proven experience in management consulting, strategy development, training and program management. He has broad experience within the financial services and technology industries, and has helped contribute millions of dollars in bottom line benefits for clients in the U.S., Australia, Singapore and India. Tej is also a dynamic and effective trainer and coach, having trained over 400 professionals in the areas of Six Sigma, Lean, statistics, DFSS and process mapping. He is a certified Master Black Belt (SSQI) and has earned his MBA from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Alister Lee, Consultant and Master Black Belt

Alister has over 10 years of experience working within the automotive, mining and banking industries in the areas of Lean and Six Sigma. Most recently, he served as the country manager in Australia for Six Sigma Qualtec, where he was responsible for client engagement, recruiting, training and project mentoring. As president of LeanExperience Pvt. Ltd., he is a recognized leader in Lean methods, having conducted several workshops and consulting engagements across the world. Prior to that, Alister served as Managing Director at Cooper Standard Automotive, responsible for all Australian operations. He holds a Bachelors degree in economics, and is certified as a Chartered Accountant and Master Black Belt.

Sandip Labh, Consultant and Master Black Belt
Sandip most recently served as the Master Black Belt for British Petroleum, a top 5 global energy company, where he headed BP’s Six Sigma deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. As the founder of Singapore-based eSourcing Star, Sandip is involved in developing cutting-edge Web-based solutions to quickly and efficiently deploy Six Sigma improvement capabilities within large organisations. Prior to his role at BP, he served as the Area Director of Six Sigma for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he was responsible for global deployment, coaching and project execution within the areas of Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR and Engineering.

Peter Russell, Consultant and Master Black Belt

Peter has over 8 years of experience as a consultant, having started his process improvement career as a Black Belt at GE Medical Systems in Europe. Most recently he served as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt within the mining, banking and consumer products industries in Australia, where he conducted LSS training and supported project execution. Prior to that, he served as a process improvement manager at Dell, where he oversaw projects across online sales, logistics, finance, IT and human resources. He is a recognized expert in using the Change Acceleration Process to implement new tools and processes. Peter earned his MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Sydney).

Parag Rele, Senior Advisor

Parag has held several senior level corporate positions, most recently as Managing Director and CEO of Aplab Limited, a publicly listed company manufacturing professional electronic and test equipment. He is a proven turn-around specialist, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in building organizations to perform at world-class levels. He is also a founder director of TRIITON Mentors and Advisors Pvt Ltd, a company founded by him along with other IIT Alumni to mentor small businesses and provided strategic direction.

Parag has played a significant role in the Alumni movement of IIT and serves on the Advisory Council of IIT-Bombay. He was conferred with The Distinguished Services Award in the year 2000 for his work with IIT and subsequently awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award (in 2002) in recognition of his contributions to the Electronics industry.

Ranjani Ranganath, Senior Advisor

Ranjani is a highly experienced and proven manager with strong expertise in operations management, strategy development and process improvement. Most recently she served as Director of GE's $500 million IT outsourcing program to India, based at the Research Centre in Bangalore. She managed over 9,000 people at all of GE's major vendors, engaged in IT delivery using Six Sigma.

Previous to that, she was a SBU head for IBM's Global Services practice, managing IBM's service delivery outsourcing to Fortune 500 customers. Ranjani brings extensive experience in technology-related businesses, including supplier/vendor contract management, marketing, project mentoring and training. She has consulted at the senior level with major global organizations, such as Ford and Shell, related to development of entry strategies for outsourcing to India, process improvement strategies, audit and risk assessment, and executive management coaching. Ranjani is a designated Six Sigma Green Belt, certified by GE.

Aman Phokela, Black Belt

Aman brings over 7 years of proven experience in the technology and financial services domains, having worked largely in operational process improvement and change management. His most recent role as a Black Belt and Project Manager in Process Transformation at Westpac Bank involved managing numerous high profile projects across multiple stakeholders and functional areas. He has been a pioneer in building complex simulation tools and applying Lean Six Sigma to achieve outstanding results in functions as varied as call center operations to mortgage sales and marketing. Aman is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and certified Change Manager. He earned his Bachelors’ degree from the Delhi Institute of Technology.
